CPD Days with Liz Eaton FBHS and Jele Dominis at the BHS Ireland Camp at the magnificent Ashbrooke House, Co Fermanagh
Observe training with Liz Eaton FBHS, and Shiatsu for horse and rider with Jele Dominis.
Liz and Jele will be working together to enable a better connection and harmony between each horse and rider. They will provide tools for body awareness using shiatsu and Alexander technique principles. The ethos is holistic with the wellbeing of the horse at the forefront.
Each day starts at 8.45am and finishes at approx. 5.30pm.
This day counts as 6 CPD points for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches. Tea/Coffee and Lunch included.
The Cost per day is £35 per person.

Practical nutrition | What makes a happy gut? | Feeding and behaviour
Equine Collaboration for Health and Outreach (ECHO was launched to provide support and education relating to sustainable health protection of equines. Bringing together veterinary professionals, educators, and researchers from The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise Campus (CAFRE) in Enniskillen, the Irish Equine Centre, Teagasc, University of Limerick and University College Dublin (School of Veterinary Medicine) to promote sustainable equine health through education, outreach and practical support.
Equine health is closely linked to nutrition, with modern management practices often challenging the horse’s natural digestive system. Inappropriate diet formulation, excessive concentrates, and insufficient forage can disrupt gut bacteria balance, increasing the risk of colic, ulcers, laminitis, and metabolic disorders. Digestive imbalances can also influence behaviour, contributing to stress, irritability, and stereotypical actions, highlighting the importance of diets that support both physical health and natural feeding behaviour.
This interactive event aims to explore:
Practical Nutrition - learn how to formulate the correct diet for your horse or pony
What Makes a Healthy Gut - discover how the hidden power of gut bacteria directly fuels your horse or pony’s health and performance
Feeding and Behaviour - explore the link between 'stable vices' and feeding
Practical demonstrations, diet analysis tools, and expert tips will help you make informed decisions for your horse’s wellbeing.

Coercive Control – Catastrophic Consequences – Collective Courage 10am to 4pm
Venue: RDA Causeway Coast & Glens, 184, Castleroe Road, Coleraine
Hosted by Riding for the Disabled Association Causeway Coast & Glens and The Links Group
This is a multi-agency day to discuss this complex topic with Women’s Aid, NSPCC Sport, Leonard Consultancy safeguarding specialists, the PSNI Operation Gallop, The Links Group subject expert vets, White Ribbon NI and more. A day for those aged 18 and over. Working together we all have a role to play in raising awareness around this difficult topic.
This day has been developed because of requests for an event to build on the interest raised and topics discussed during The Links Group and BHS Information Session and Workshop for Coaches, Equestrian Groups and Equestrian Businesses, held on Monday 9 March 2026 at CAFRE Enniskillen Campus.
Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. Cost to attend: £20 per person to cover costs

Coaching Neurodivergent Young People
With Jo Aungiers at Laurel View Equestrian Centre, Co Antrim
7.30pm to 9.30pm
This two hour in person workshop will provide tools to support inclusive coaching. It will be particularly focused on equine assisted learning practices and will assist those coaches working in that area of work.
Understanding neurodivergence in equestrian youth settings
Sensory and communication differences in 11-17 year olds
Creating predictable, low-stress coaching environments
Supporting emotional regulation and transitions
Practical adaptations for lessons, stable management, and yard routines
Real-life scenarios drawn from equestrian programmes
Quick-win micro-changes for immediate implementation
This workshop is supportive of the BHS Ireland Learning with Horses Programme and is funded by Children in Need.
It will count as 2 CPD points for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches.
Cost:- Free of Charge (Funded by Children in Need)
