JOB VACANCY - Equestrian Training Programme Facilitator

Festina Lente, Bray, Co. Wicklow

Part-time Permanent - 29.5 hrs/wk (Mon-Fri)
ABOUT THE ROLE

•     This is a 2-year vocational programme in partnership with KWETB, supporting young adults with personal development and working towards a recognised QQI Level 4 Major Award in Horsemanship.

•     You will facilitate yard-based learning, deliver QQI modules, and mentor students who thrive in low-stimulation, neurodiversity-affirming environments.

WHAT YOU BRING

•     Third-level qualification in Social Care, Health Care, Youth Work, Psychology, or a related field.

•     Proven track record in disability support, youth work, or mental health, alongside practical equine coaching/teaching experience.

•     Passion for neurodiversity inclusion, person-centred planning, and outdoor physical work.

•     Full clean Irish driving licence & Ireland work authorisation.

To coach riding school clients and maintain good relationships. To care for the Riding school clients and horses, ensuring they are well prepared for their role in the lessons. This is a physical and highly rewarding position, requiring dedication, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to helping others.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced coach to join our Saturday team.  Contract options available are full day (8.30am - 5.30pm) or half day.
