Welcome to Abbeyfield Farm Country Pursuits, nestled in over 240 acres of picturesque Kildare countryside. Less than 40 minutes drive from Dublin city centre, our experienced and friendly staff will provide you with a safe and enjoyable afternoon of fun outdoor activities such as Horse Riding,Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery and Air Rifle Shooting. For the first timer, expert tuition is provided to allow you get the very best out of each pursuit. For the accomplished let us push your skills to the limit.
Horses & Livery at Abbeyfield Farm Facilities include:
- 70m x 40m all- weather flood lit arena
- 240 acres of treks
- 12 furlong all weather gallop
- 60+ cross country fences all weather including technical fences
- Quiet country routes with no traffic interference
- Hunting 4 days a week ( Hunts include North Kildare Farmers, Kildare Foxhounds, South County Dublin Hunt & Ward Union Staghounds)

We have 56 stables in total with automatic drinkers & built in food troughs. Horses are turned out on a daily basis year round. As we are a family run business there is always someone on site. We have pony lessons on a Saturday morning and afternoon which cater for all levels. We also hold a number of pony camps throughout the year.
