At Garrai Glas Equine Education Centre we collaborate with different local stakeholders, such as the Educational Training Board, local Primary and Secondary Schools and a variety of Social Community Projects to offer courses that teach the skills associated with the welfare and care of equines.
Based on a Teagasc BETTER Farm, we regularly work with discussion groups and other advisory initiatives in this inclusive environment.
We host the GRETB Green Cert on the farm and work with Social Farming Ireland.
We provide education around our native Connemara pony and offer career training within the British Horse Society career pathway.
We provide a safe and supportive environment for all our learners, who are guided by qualified equestrian personnel to achieve industry-relevant skill standards.
