his video was created by the RSA in association with the Garda Mounted Unit to demonstrate how to overtake a horse and rider safely. Horses and their riders are extremely vulnerable in a collision and can be seriously , sometimes fatally injured if struck by a car.
The aim of this video is to educate drivers on the correct behaviours when passing a horse on the road.
