Childvision in conjunction with AIRE have produced a Therapeutic Riding Coach course for AIRE approved centres. This will allow anyone with their Stage 2 or Stage 3 Teach to learn the necessary additional skills to become a Therapeutic Riding Coach.
The current demand by families for therapeutic riding is extensive. We know that a lot of centres are already seeing quite a number of children with additional needs. This course will give you great ideas on how to run fun, targeted, appropriate sessions for these children, to meet their needs, and have the knowledge to plan how to get the most out of each session for everyone involved.
This is a 4-day course. There will be three courses throughout the next year around the country.
