AIRE received a Participation Grant from H.S.I at end of 2020. The grant is being used for Training Days later on in the year but also to bring new children/adults to the sport and assist those who have already commenced Riding Lessons. A series of free webinars are taking place in January. The first set of webinars are aimed at children and are listed below:
“Pony Care for Beginners” via Zoom on Thursday 7th January 2021.
“Preparing for a Show” via Zoom on Tuesday 12th January 2021.
These webinars will inform children on the basic care and welfare of the animals they love and see at Riding Centres or perhaps in their own yards. The presentations are aimed at children under 12 years of age and will last between 30 and 40 minutes.
The webinars have been hugely successful and are already full with waiting lists. We have put on extra dates to accommodate as many small people as possible. New events details will be forwarded to Members as they are arranged.
