Annaharvey Farm has been home to the Deverell Family for 5 generations & is a busy and exciting place to visit. We offer training in jumping. flat work & X country riding, and welcome visitors on both a residential & non residential basis. Accommodation is in the old restored grain barn which is very comfortable & cosy and visitors quickly make themselves at home, wandering in & out of the kitchen for tea or coffee and one of Lynda's homemade cookies!
The riding instruction is excellent with BHS qualified instructors who are good at their job & know how to get the rider to go that little bit extra to improve their skills without making them feel uncomfortable - we are also very keen to maintain the element of fun which is so important when riders are on holiday.
The facilities comprise an indoor and outdoor arena, lunging ring, gallops, xcountry course from novice to advanced level, & general hacking /trekking around the 400 acre farm.

Riders will venture through the park and pine forests and experience stunning lake and mountain views. Sightings of wildlife such as herds of red deer can be expected. The 2-hour trail reaches up into the foothold of the mountains passing hunting lodges etc where the views are even more breathtakingly beautiful. Shorter or longer trail rides can also be arranged. At Muckross Horse Riding Centre we provide horses and ponies for people of all ages. Whether you are just a beginner or an advanced rider we can offer you a highly enjoyable experience. Our horses and ponies are extremely quiet and well mannered. We match an appropriate horse to every rider for a memorable riding experience. Assistance is offered by experienced staff with safety being a priority.
Nervous novice riders will be accompanied by guides on foot at no extra charge. If you just want a relaxing armchair ride to take in the scenery that is fine by us. If you get to feel brave, we could try a little trot. Experienced riders are accompanied by a guide on horseback who will lead the riders through many of the treks and trails in the National Park and these riders can expect to do some trotting and cantering on the flatter terrain.
No pre-booking is essential. We always have horses ready to go. Just turn up!

Welcome to Dingle Horse Riding. Set on the dramatic and beautiful west coast of Ireland, we specialise in two hour, half and full day rides and week long riding holidays for experienced riders, taking in all the beauty and exhiliration of the mountains and beaches the Dingle Peninsula has to offer.
We also offer one hour mountain rides for novice/beginner riders. We have a range of fit, responsive and well-cared for horses from 14.2hh to 17hh, mostly Irish sporthorses, but also draught, cob, appaloosa and a clydesdale. At Killarney Riding Stables we offer 1 hour, 2 hour and 3 hour trail rides.
All our groups go into the National Park in Killarney, which can boast being, the largest and oldest National Park in Ireland. We ride through the Knockreer Demense, North of Lough Lein, (the largest of the three lakes in Killarney) and take in views of Ross Island, along with panoramic views of Innisfallen Island and the McGillycuddy Reeks Mountain Range. The Kenmare Estate and the majestic mountains surrounding Killarney will all be appreciated.
All rides are supervised by guides with special care taken of nervous or beginner riders. We cater for all levels of riding experience (walk, trot and canter depending on each individual's ability), and riders are grouped according to ability.
Creagh Equestrian Centre is a family run centre. It was established in 1994 by brother and sister, Damien and Fiona Carey. It is set in beautiful countryside only 4 miles from Ballinasloe town. Creagh Equestrian Centre provides a safe and fun environment for both kids and adults to learn to ride in.
