|Bel Air is a family run manor house hotel and equestrian centre, just south of Dublin.
We are probably best known for our cross country ride-outs, and we specialise in building rider confidence on the cross country course. Other riding is available too: flatwork, showjumping, crosscountry jumping and hacking out through fields and forest.
Our horses are happy and willing, and well chosen for the riding we provide. However, we are not well geared to facilitate beginners or children under thirteen years.
Bel Air is a 200 acre working farm and we use our own land for riding and cross country jumping. We have a sand arena for showjumping and flatwork lessons, and access to thousands of acres of state forest.
A friendly atmosphere means both horses and riders can enjoy themselves fully.
We cater for small groups and can make up a special program for you. And the area has a lot to offer also friends and family members who don't want to ride.
Bel Air is the home of the Bel Air Riding Club. We are approved by A.I.R.E. and we are members of A.I.R.C. and E.H.I. Bel Air is the oldest established equestrian centre in Ireland and the UK. Bel Air now runs BHS Riding & Road Safety Exams, call Maggie Law on 087 2949495 for new dates of same.
